The EOUs basically functioning under the administrative control of the Development Commissioner of Special Processing Zones/Export Oriented Units, whose Special Economics Zones has been notified by the Ministry Of Commerce. In all there are seven Development Commisioner at Mumbai, Ghandhidham, Chennai, Cochin, Vizag, Noida, Calcutta, who supervise the fuctioning of EOUs. Application for setting up units under EOU/SEZ scheme may be filled with the concerned Development Commissioner under whose jurisdiction the unit is proposed to be located |
